Sharon began playing piano at age five. At eleven, she added viola lessons and after six months of study, was accepted in the South Jersey Regional Orchestra. At thirteen, Sharon joined the Interlochen Arts Festival in Michigan, and later that same year, earned a place in the Juilliard School’s Pre-College program. Sharon studied music at Louisiana State University and then played in The Orchestra of St. Peter By the Sea and The Garden State Philharmonic.
